Converter gas cooling OKG-type boilers are designed to cool and recover heat of flue gases of steel-making converters. The boilers can be with or without converter gas afterburning.
The boilers design considers high thermal loads, their cyclicity, high dust loading of gases leaving the converter mouth, the presence of a large amount of toxic carbon monoxide in gases.
The boilers are drum-type, radiant heat-convective П-shaped or updraft-type boilers, made of gas-tight membrane panels.
Circulation in OKG-type boilers can be forced or combined.
The OKG-type boilers are fitted with the required valves, fittings, steam and water sampling device, supervisory instruments.
The boilers are delivered to the erection site as transportable assembly units.
