Waste-heat boilers for petroleum coke calcination plants are designed to cool down coke calciner exit gases and generate superheated or saturated steam. Additional air to reburn coke and carry-over of gaseous flammables can be supplied in these boilers. Boilers can also be fitted with burner units to maintain load and allow for independent mode operation.
Heating surfaces in high-temperature area are manufactured of membrane waterwalls to provide for high gas-tightness of the boilers.
Convection surfaces are fitted with cleaning system. Hoppers for collection and removal of ash and dust accumulating in gas ducts are available in the boilers. If needed, steam temperature is controlled by injection of own condensate produced in the boiler condenser.
The boiler is completed with steam-generating circuit valves and fittings, operating medium parameter measuring instruments.
